Kindergarten - 4th Quarter Objectives 2012/13

We have begun the final quarter of kindergarten. These are the new skills that ill be introduced and tested this marking period.

Language Arts

• Retell stories in sequence in own words
• Begin to write stories that are focused with beginning, middle and ending.

Math

• Tell time to the half-hour
• Measure and compare using non-standard units
• Identify penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and their values
• Solve stories/problems that involve addition and subtraction
• Identify and understand fractional parts
