Local School Council Meeting Minutes
June 2010

The June 1, 2010 regular meeting was called to order by the chairperson, Mr. Aronzo Traylor, at 4:03 pm. A quorum was present.

Members in attendance:
Cathy Bennett, Ron Traylor, Melissa Boyd, Donna Somerville, Bill Cahill, Charlie Zarzecki, Catherine Gannon, Cheryl Kite, and Julie Moran

Members not in attendance:
Mike Barnum

Minutes:
The minutes of May 4, 2010 were read and approved with corrections.

Principal’s Report:
SIPAAA was submitted for area and board approval. CPS budget was still unsettled. LSC members received copies of cell tower expenditures.

Committee Reports:
PPLC – Science Textbooks
PTA – No Report
Building and Grounds – Grounds were looking good
School Climate – Basketball sign-up for girls and no new business.

Old Business:
Enrollment – Addressed in principal’s report

New Business – None

Principal Evaluation Approval Vote:
Approved with 8 votes.

Public Comment:
No sign – up

The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 pm.
