PTA NewsSutherland Men's Club We will be having our INAUGURAL Sutherland Men's Club Family Picnic on Saturday, June 27th at 2 PM at Beverly Park! It is a bring your own food and beverages, we will supply grills, charcoal and tools...... There is going to be a men's softball game beginning at 2:30 PM, WITH the St. Barnabas Men's Club. That means you sign up and we pick mixed teams, so yes, you will meet new people. This is what you need to do; Tell me if you [or your man] are going to play softball and, tell me how many and what size shirt[s] you would like. Youth S, M, L & adult S, M, L & XL, not sure if we can go larger, let me know if there is interest. I need this info by 6/19 at the latest. President- Kitty Carroll 2008-2009 PTA Chair-Persons Box Tops for Education: Laurie Ach Welcome, Parents of Sutherland Elementary School Children from the Sutherland PTA The Sutherland PTA would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to all parents of Sutherland Elementary School children. If you are new to our school, we would like to inform you of the many opportunities you have to volunteer and to continue to make Sutherland a thriving environment for learning. The enclosed handouts contain important information for you to review, as well as some forms to be returned to school in a timely manner. Please take the time to read each form. Sutherland’s success is a direct result of the partnership of parents, children, teachers, local school council, and administration working together to provide the best education available. The Sutherland PTA is proud to be a part of the Sutherland team. Our mission is to support families and teachers by providing volunteer hours, fundraising, and support for the educational process. We would like you to become a part of the PTA! We meet the first Tuesday of each month, alternating meeting times between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. Please check your weekly newsletter, or our website, for meeting times. We look forward to seeing you there. Please review the list of items below to be sure you read and respond when appropriate. We realize how busy everyone is, so all of this information and more is listed on our website: www.sutherland.cps.k12.il.us.
