November 6, 2007 Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 9:15 a.m.  Motion to approve Minutes from October meeting  moved, seconded, and approved.

Treasurer’s Report:
Profit from the Entertainment Book fundraiser is $2,270.00. There were no teacher supply disbursements this month. Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report moved, seconded, and approved.

Principal’s Report:
-Kindergarten registration is December 21st.  Please inform parents of preschoolers residing in the district.
-Student counsel elections are next week.
-The Stew Crew will be collecting coats, shoes, food for the poor.
-A collection for the armed forces is planned for next month.
-Rosetta Stone subscriptions are due.
-Principal for a Day was a success, with several “principals” participating.
-LSC meeting is November 13th at 4p.m.
-PLEASE FREQUENTLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR NEW INFORMATION!
                    
Officers’ Report:                   
-There is a meal sign up list for the Cahill family.
-Membership cards are available for pick-up.
-Mrs. Sheahan and Mrs. Carberry thank the PTA for the donated school supplies.

Committee Reports:
School Directory:  Address verification lists should be reviewed by parents at report card pick-up.
Holiday Shop:  The committee is in need of volunteers on Dec. 4 and 5 to help with the holiday shop.
Fundraising:  Anytime Treats: Be a Fifteen Minute Gourmet.  Delicious breakfast samples were on hand at this meeting. The Fundraiser will be held this month.

New Business: 
Colleen Klimzak returned for an encore presentation on family organization strategies.
