Welcome from the PTA President

Dear Sutherland Families:

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!!

As this school year’s new PTA president, I would like to introduce myself and the PTA Board members to you.

My husband Joe and I have four children, all at Sutherland School. While being active in the PTA for the past eight years, I have been involved with many committees and events. They include: the auditorium renovation committee, co-chaired; I Madonnari, co-chaired; Parents’ Night Out, chaired; buildings and grounds, co-chaired; Father/Daughter Dance; and room parents.

The other Board members of the Sutherland PTA who have been as involved and dedicated to our school with their continuous hard work are:

We have many exciting events planned for this school year, and hope that you can volunteer some of your time to help. Please see the attached volunteer sign-up form. We have over 500 families at Sutherland, and we need everyone’s help to continue to be a successful school. Also, please be sure to use the attached form to become a PTA member.

The PTA’s first meeting will be Tuesday, September 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. We hope to see you there!
