2011-2012 School Supplies — Grade 7 & 8

THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES WILL BE NEEDED:

These are required supplies.  Each student is expected to have them in school each day.  Items should be replenished as they are depleted. NOTE:  Materials Fees will be used to provide a Homework Assignment book for each student.

  • 2 single-subject notebooks (100-120 pages) for Math and French (per quarter)
  • 3-ring binder notebook with 8-tab dividers  (2-inches thick) for Language Arts
  • 2 five-subject notebooks for Social Studies and Science
  • 5 DuoTang folders with fasteners for Math, Science, French (2), and Art
  • #2 Pencils & sharpener
  • Red pens/pencils
  • Black/standard blue pens
  • White Out/Liquid Paper
  • Highlighter
  • Loose-leaf white notebook paper  (Lots of it!)
  • Ruler  (metric)
  • Protractor - 6 inch
  • Compass, safety plastic
  • Scissors
  • Colored markers and pencils
  • Elmer’s white glue and glue stick
  • 4 black Sharpies (2 for Art)
  • French Dictionary - if not already purchased
  • Art Sketchbook (8 ½ x 11 white pages, 50 pages minimum)
  • Scientific calculator - Texas Instruments TI-34II or TI-34 Multiview
  • Expandable file (plastic with 6 pockets)

Classroom Supplies:    2 boxes of Kleenex
                                 2 rolls of paper towels
                                    Baby wipes – Science
                                    Hand sanitizer
